These Terms of Use govern your use of Cause, an asynchronous, paced platform for difficult conversations. By using Cause you agree to them.

The product is provided by a small company on the Gold Coast. The legal entity behind Cause is:TODOLegal entity name

Cause is an asynchronous, face-to-face guided exchange. A prompt is read aloud, the camera waits, the message is sealed and sent. The recipient enters the same chamber on the other side. Cause is not a substitute for medical, legal, financial, or crisis-intervention advice.

• Use Cause for the conversations it is built for — difficult, paced, human. Do not use it to harass, threaten, or impersonate anyone.
• Do not use Causeto record or distribute other people’s words without their consent.
• Do not attempt to probe, scan, or test the security of the platform without written permission.

Causeholds ephemeral sessions. A sender decides how long a sealed video lingers on the recipient’s device before the gated session seals it. There is no archive of everything you have ever said. After the seal, the bytes are gone.

You keep responsibility for what you send and what you record of others. If you create an account, keep your sign-in to yourself. Cause will never ask for your password in a message, and you should not share it.

Cause is small and still being shaped. Features may change, retire, or move. Where a change is material — to billing, to privacy, to the recorded experience — we will write before we ship.

Cause charges a small monthly price. Pricing is shown on the product page before you sign up. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period; we do not pro-rate for partial months.

These terms are governed by the laws of TODOJurisdiction / governing law. Where a dispute cannot be resolved in correspondence, the venue is TODODispute resolution venue.

Nothing in these terms removes the protections you have under the Australian Consumer Law.

They will be filled in before the public launch. Until then, the live product is provided under the terms above, without those specifics.
